Anybody tried the "Flat Belly Diet"?

Just wondering if anyone's tried the "Flat Belly Diet and seen and kept the results:) My parents told me about it and I checked it out. Any diet that includes things like olives, avocados, nuts, healthy oils and dark chocolate seems right up my ally! The holidays were not good to me weight wise, and even though it's snowing today, too soon it will be swim club time! Ahhhh!

I've also been working out, somewhat regularly at least. I'm trying.

Anyway, has anyone tried or heard anything good about it? The meals look really good but I think it's the portions I'll struggle with. The books in the mail so I'll let you know how it goes.

I actually have heard of it...but as a nutritionist and former aerobics teacher I would have to say eat a regular diet, and add crunches and a walk to your schedule. I know this may not be what you want to hear, but dieting can cause health problems down the road. I myself am losing weight by walking and eating 4oz of main course with lots of veggies most of the meals.

It's funny cause the diet is mostly things I eat anyway just with proper portions and making sure you have MUFAs (monounsaturated fatty acids) or good fats like olive oil, nuts and seeds, avocados etc.:) in every meal and snack. It's based on a Mediterranean-style diet.

I need to do like you and add more veggies. I am majorly lacking in that department.

I read the other day that if you start your meals with a salad or just greens you will eat less of the other items and lose weight. So I am trying that. I need to move more but somedays I don't feel like it.
Good Luck!
